Travis has been dancing since he was 3 years old. His entire family is involved in the entertainment business and he has been trained at and has trained others at his mother's Dance Studio in Virginia Beach. He's appeared on Broadway in "The Music Man" and has appeared in numerous national commercials and TV shows. Travis has been featured in both "Evolution" and "Moving Still" dance companies. Travis received nationwide exposure when he became a contestant on Season 2 of the hit summer reality series So You Think You Can Dance during the Summer of 2006. He wowed audiences and judges weekly, and was so impressive he became the runner-up of Season 2. He then toured the US with the Top 10 finalists on the show, as well as toured individually and with Ivan Koumaev, teaching dance across the nation notably at the NYCDA and NUVO conventions but certainly numerous other conventions, intensives, and workshops. Travis is a ridiculously incredible dancer and (in my own and obviously other's opinons) extremely entertaining, inspiring, and gorgeous.
Also, from November 2007 through to June 2008, Travis toured across the United States teaching and performing with 'NUVO' (http://gonuvo.com). As of the New Year (2008), Travis and Ivan have moved to New York City. During May 2008 Travis Wall was featured on So You Think You Can Dance Season 4 as the auditions choreographer.
Travis continues to teach dance with various other workshops and intensives across the country, while growing and evolving his own unique style of dance.
He's come a long way.. :)
