Just a quick update/reminder that Travis will be on "THE BAUB SHOW this coming Monday!!!

Okay so Travis had had a really busy and really incredible last couple months!! Here are some of the highlights since the last update starting with the most recent:

"Mraz tells Rolling Stone he was “absolutely moved” by the clip, which his parents alerted him about after they caught it on TV � so much so that he’s trying to get the pair to perform during the Chicago stop of his tour next week, where he’ll be filming a live DVD. “I woke up in bed the other night going, ‘I have to get that couple to dance!’ "

So amazing!!!!

Okay next... after choreographing the insanely beautiful, above-mentioned 'If It Kills Me' piece with Jason & Jeanine for SYTYCD, Travis was asked to choreograph a Top 8 Group Routine for the Top 8 performance show! Check out the fantastic group routine below:

Next..

Travis won the Capezio A.C.E Award for his 'It's Gonna Be A Long Walk' Piece!!!

He won $15,000 which will go towards his very own show in NYC. He will be featured in a Capezio ad on the back of Dance Teacher & Dance Spirit magazine. He'll be recognized in the 2010 Dance Teacher Summit promotions and he will also do a special guest performance at the Dancer Teacher Summit Gala on August 29th in NYC!

This is what Travis had to say about the award in a recent interview with Dance Magazine, before actually winning:

" I've always been a choreographer and that's what I want to pursue. Right now I'm up for the Capezio ACE award, and if I win it, I get a one-night show in New York City. I haven't wanted to win anything since I was 15 at a dance competition like I want to win this. "

Also, Travis tweeted last week that he was taking part in a commercial shoot with Wade Robson and NeYo! No idea what it's about at the moment but here's a picture of the three of them:

Keep your eyes and ears open for the commercial!

Also recently, Travis took part in a weeklong one-of-a-kind workshop called "The Shoot" with Dee Caspary.

It's an exclusive, invitation-only workshop that included constant classes, rehearsals, filming and a closing performance show. Hopefully there are clips featuring Travis up, soon!

Travis also took part in the 2009 iHollywood Dance Convention last week as well! No clips yet on that either but just another event that will likely produce some Travis footage in the coming days or weeks!

And to wrap up... the So You Think You Can Dance Get Fit Fitness DVDs are now available!!! Travis is featured in the 'Cardio Funk' DVD.

I'm going to be testing mine out on Monday but so far I've heard great things about the DVDs so go out and get one yourself!

SYTYCD Fitness DVDs - Now Available for Pre-Order!

So while Travis's "It's About Time" DVD is still not available for purchase, another DVD featuring him now is! Remember the heads up about Travis being involved in a 'SYTYCD Fitness DVD' awhile back?

Well the two DVDs are now available for pre-order on Amazon!

There's a "Cardio Funk" one, that has a cover featuring Travis, and a "Tone & Groove" that could also feature him but he's just not on the cover. ;) They're fairly cheap and they don't go on sale until July 21st but they can be pre-ordered now!

TRAVIS ON DANCING WITH THE STARS TOMORROW! (TUESDAY, MAY 5TH!)

Hey everyone!!

Travis is going to be performing on Dancing with the Stars tomorrow (Tuesday, May 5th) during the results show! He'll be performing with Taja Riley! Be sure to tune in and check it out!! We know the last time Travis was on DWTS ( with Wade Robson back in 2007), it was an incredible performance so this should be nothing short of incredible!

NEWS: TRAVIS WALL WINS CHOREOGRAPHY AWARD!

Hi everyone!

This past Monday, April 20th, 160 dancers competed in a competition at the Joyce Theater in NYC, with all proceeds from the competition going towards "Dancers Responding to AIDS".

The Joyce Choreography Award was award to Denise Wall's Dance Energy and their choreographer, none other than Travis!!

"'The Joyce Choreography Award' was given to Denise Wall’s Dance Energy’s 'It’s Going to be a Long Walk', choreographed by Travis Wall (s2). Travis’ choreography was honored for communicating solitude with chaos while showcasing the amazing artistic and technical ability of those on stage."
